Congrats Adam! My birthday was on the 26th, so I have a special fondness for fellow Xmas babies.
Thanks everyone for the thoughtful responses, mom and kid are doing great. One thing I'll add about the entire birth experience is that going in I was certain that the nightmare "birth" from "The Fly" would be in my head during delivery, but it was completely absent. Maybe I'm more mature than I thought.

Welcome to the world of late nights, ill-timed vomiting and inappropraite pants-peeing, all to be overshadowed by that first smile and the first laugh and that first everything else. However... look out. Young master Aiden has the same birthday as both Marlene Dietrich and, uh, Chris Stangl, so historically Dec. 27 is trouble of some kind.
